Terms of Service
Effective date: May 1, 2020 · Last updated: September 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of homefrontholidaylights.com (the "Site") and the services provided by Homefront Power Wash Inc., operating as Homefront Holiday Lights ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Homefront Holiday Lights is a trade name. Any contract for services is with Homefront Power Wash Inc.
Our Services
We provide exterior lighting services in the greater Seattle and Eastside area — including permanent roofline lighting systems, seasonal holiday light installation, commercial lighting, and takedown and storage. Descriptions on the Site are general information. The specific scope, price, and terms of any work will be set out in the quote or agreement we provide to you.
Quotes & Estimates
We quote permanent installations in person, because roofline layout, access, power availability, and trim matching cannot be assessed remotely. Quotes are based on the conditions observed at the time. Final pricing may be adjusted if actual conditions differ materially from what was described or observed. We will communicate any such changes before performing additional work.
Cost comparisons, calculators, and illustrative figures on the Site are estimates for planning purposes only. They are not quotes, and nothing on the Site guarantees a return on investment or payback period.
Permanent Installations
A permanent lighting system is hardware installed on your building and intended to remain in place year-round. By authorising a permanent installation you confirm that you own the property, or are authorised by the owner to permit the installation.
Installation involves attaching track and components to the roofline, fascia, gutter, or similar surfaces. We will explain the attachment method for your home before work begins. You should be aware that attaching hardware to a roof or gutter system may affect a manufacturer or installer warranty on those systems, and you are responsible for confirming that with the relevant provider.
If your roof or gutters are later replaced or repaired, removal and reinstallation of the lighting system is not included in the original installation and is quoted separately. Unless your agreement says otherwise, the installed system becomes part of the property.
HOA & Local Requirements
You are responsible for confirming that a permanent or seasonal lighting installation is permitted by your homeowners association, community, or any applicable local requirement. Requirements vary between associations, and we do not represent that any lighting product or installation is approved by any association. We are glad to answer an association's questions about our system, but the obligation to obtain any required approval is yours.
Electrical
Our permanent lighting systems operate at low voltage and connect to a standard 110V household outlet. We are a general contractor, not an electrical contractor, and we do not perform electrical work beyond connecting the system to existing, functioning power. If your installation requires new circuits, outlets, or other electrical work, that must be performed by a licensed electrician and is not included in our scope.
Scheduling, Access & Weather
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the areas to be serviced. We may need to reschedule for weather or safety reasons — installation work at height is not performed in unsafe conditions, and we will not compromise crew safety to hold a date.
Seasonal Takedown & Storage
Where we store seasonal lighting for you between seasons, we take reasonable care of your property while it is in our possession. Lighting materials have a finite service life and may fail or degrade through normal use and storage; we will tell you when materials are no longer serviceable.
Payment
Payment terms are as stated in your quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the work.
Warranty
We warrant our labour and workmanship on permanent lighting installations for three years from completion. This covers how the system was installed — track placement and attachment, wiring concealment, and component mounting.
Lighting components carry their own manufacturer warranty, on the manufacturer's current written terms. Those terms are set by the manufacturer and may change; we do not make commitments on their behalf. Our workmanship warranty does not cover physical damage from outside the installation — including storms, falling limbs, roof or gutter work performed by others, or modifications to the system — or normal component life.
Results & Expectations
Homes vary in architecture, roofline geometry, trim color, and access. Results differ between properties, and some design outcomes may not be achievable on a given home. We will tell you before work begins if we believe something you want cannot be delivered well.
Property & Liability
We carry liability insurance and take care to protect your property. You agree to inform us in advance of any conditions that could affect the work or create a risk of damage — such as aging or damaged roofing, loose fascia or gutters, unstable surfaces, delicate landscaping, or areas that should not be accessed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, gain unauthorised access to any systems, or use the Site's content without permission. All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable laws. Product names and trademarks belonging to manufacturers whose equipment we install remain the property of those manufacturers.
Chat Assistant
Our Site offers an AI-powered chat assistant for convenience. Its responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or complete. Nothing the assistant says constitutes a binding quote, a warranty commitment, or a representation about HOA approval — only a written quote or agreement from us is binding.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except as required by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. This disclaimer applies to the Site and does not limit the workmanship warranty described above.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washington.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
